Sam will make you feel like you’ve known her for years the minute you walk in the door. She has been in the industry for over 6 years and specializes in color - specifically foiling, balayage, and dimensional color. She can cater to any of your hair needs including cutting, coloring, styling, and will make you feel comfortable every step of the way. She is also a District Manager with Arbonne international and can help you discover all of the amazing nutrition, hair care, skin care, and body care products that Arbonne has that we offer right inside of our salon! 

Ellen enjoys hair of all types. She was trained in precision cuts and can master most any cowlick! She thoroughly enjoys coloring and highlighting, and loves people of all ages and the diversity that they bring to her career. Ellen has been doing hair for 39 years.

Our energizer! Tracy's enthusiasm in life transfers directly to her ability behind the chair. Her complete knowledge of coloring, perming and cutting are hard to match. From the wonderful greeting and consultation to the final snip of her scissors, you will be pampered and emerge looking fabulous. Tracy has 30 years of experience -- 27 years with us.

Terry has been doing hair for over 25 years and still loves it! Her motto "keep growing, stay current and stay in the game!" She is certified in DEVA cuts, Keratin treatments and the Brazilian Blowout. Terry is Vidal Sassoon trained, loves up-do's, balayage and Pentura Beautiful Blonde Highlights! For a unique experience, she's the one!

Dawn has been with the Special Effects family for 5 years! She is a certified hair color specialist, with additional expertise in custom coloring, Keratin Smoothing Treatments, specialized perms, and Great Lengths Hair Extensions. She has over 26 years of experience in the Annapolis area.

Our go-to girl! She is not a stylist, but other than hair, she does just about anything you need in the salon. Make appointments, order products, shampoo your hair, even order your lunch if need be. Just ask and Sue can do... Sue has been with us 26 years!
